Become a Village Idiots Cycling Club Member

Membership is open to community-focused people of all cycling abilities with acoustic or e-bikes who enjoy riding in the company of others. While most regularly scheduled rides take place in Douglas County and nearby towns, we have members from Larkspur to Lakewood.

Annual membership fees of $150 ($165 after 4/1/25) include:

• New, custom-designed club jersey every year (a $68 value)
• $75 tax-deductible charitable contribution to our charity partner (currently the Backpack Society)
• Variety of rides to choose from and the comradery of other cyclists
• Club social events
• A Club membership for Ride with GPS
• The option to participate in multi-day, out of town cycling excursions and supported rides
• An opportunity to participate in various community events such as our bi-annual roadside clean-up, hands-on-help for the Backpack Society and our annual bike collection for HopeCycles.

Minors under 18 must register through their parent/guardian, who will sign the online waiver on their behalf, and must have a parent or guardian with them when participating in club rides.

Become a Village Idiots Cycling Club Business Member

Our Business Members play a critical role in helping us fulfill the pedal, play, purpose principles of our club. Their financial support sustains us as a recreational cycling club AND allows us to direct a significant portion of each member’s registration fee to a local non-profit organization, the Backpack Society.

Businesses can have club memberships at the Century, Criterium, or Time Trial level. 

Business memberships, depending on level, include the following:

• Logo on the custom-designed club jersey
• Business name, logo, and link on the club website
• Opportunity to host seminars/events for club members and make an email blast to all club members
• Invitation to club events and membership meetings
