Purpose

The health, vitality and sustainability of our community is important to us. We provide our members the opportunity to provide their support both financially and with hands-on-help. The club chooses one or more charity partners each year. In addition, we have adopted a road in Douglas County and coordinate trash pick-up events each year.

Backpack Society

Backpack Society is a community supported non-profit organization that collects food donations and funds for students who are struggling with food insecurity. They partner with Douglas County and Littleton Public School District to provide food to kids on weekends and on breaks when they don't have access to it at school.

As part of our on-going effort to provide community support, a portion of every member’s registration is directed to the Backpack Society. Through the years the club has directed over $30,000 in donations to local non-profits in this way.

Members may also volunteer individually or as a group to help with organizing and packing food bags and weekend boxes for school children and their families.
